Do Yarra Valley Hosting take backups?

Yes, we do take account backups for disaster recovery purposes. These backups are generally available in the unlikely event that you do require them, however, there is a small fee involved in their restoral.
It should be noted that these backups should not be relied upon, and you should be taking and storing your own backups on a remote host or locally on your computer. For more details on cPanel's backup tools please see our article on cPanel Backups.

At this time we currently store both a Daily (from early AM same day) and a Weekly (anywhere between 2 and 7 days old) backup for all accounts, Business accounts also have a monthly backup taken (anywhere between 1 and 4 weeks old).
Having said this, please note that where accounts exceed 5gb in size, we may cease taking and storing backups of your hosting service, users whose accounts no longer receive backups will be notified immediately via email.

Should you have any questions or concerns about our backup policies, please let our customer team know.
