How do I create a MySQL database?

If you're looking to setup a MySQL database on your account you can create a MySQL database and an associated MySQL user in a few easy steps.
Simply login to your cPanel > goto the MySQL Database Wizard > and follow the prompts.

Once you've created your database and user you can add the details you created into your scripts configuration.

The database hostname (dbhost) field will vary depending on which server you're hosted on:
  • On a premiere hosting service you may retrieve the correct hostname via cPanel > MySQL Databases.
