How do I use the backup feature in cPanel?

The backup feature in cPanel allows you to make backups of your cPanel account. Although we take backups of your account as well, it's always vital to remember to take your own backups as well.
Within cPanel > Backups you have many options to create your own:

Full Backup - Using this tool creates a full backup of your account (including mail, files, databases, etc), unfortunately at this time cPanel only allows us (your web provider) to restore the backup for you.
Partial Backup - These backups can be made by yourself at anytime, and you can also restore them yourself any time you need. You can only grab a copy of the individual facets of your accounts, being able to make backups for the following options:
  • Home Directory Backup
  • MySQL Database Backup
  • Email Forwarders
  • Email Filters
